What is Watt-Ahh®?

Watt-Ahh® is 100% water, which begins as spring water, and was subsequently altered by a patent-pending electrolysis/magnetic polarization process, altering only the bonding of the hydrogen molecules. We call this process "Hydro-fortified" to create our premium drinking water. Once converted, Watt-Ahh® will not "revert back," and will maintain its properties, regardless of storage, freezing, or boiling. Watt-Ahh® tastes crisp and refreshing, with properties unlike any other bottled water on the market today. Is Watt-Ahh® still "regular" water?

Well, we wouldn't call it "regular" by any means, but Watt-Ahh® is still 100% pure water, although it is now considered "Hydro-fortified", rather than "regular" water. Watt-Ahh® can be used in the same manner as any other water, only it out-performs "regular" water in almost every way. Testimonials report incredible health benefits, tremendous cleaning uses, improved plant growth, improved pet health, and the list goes on. Our primary market priority is to create a great tasting water with efficient hydration that promotes good health; however, our customers have discovered other uses for Watt-Ahh® that we describe in the following subsection below, entitled "Other Potential Uses for Watt-Ahh®".

Where does Watt-Ahh® come from?

Watt-Ahh® is currently produced and bottled in Southwest Florida with more bottling locations nationwide as demand grows.

How was Watt-Ahh® named?

Well, our marketing strategist, Randy, was not impressed with our initial attempts to name the bottled water. He told us over the span of several months that we need to capture the customers' interest plus give the customers some idea of the process used to produce this special water. Our initial names of "AquaNew", "Magnificent Water", and even "Lightning Mist" did not cut it. We tried "Ponce's Water" to allude to the Fountain of Youth, but Randy was not impressed. Randy finally herded us into one room and held a brainstorming session so we could ponder a brand name. The word "water" and other similar words landed on the board. The group was intrigued with the beginning letters of "WATer" since "watts" or electrical current is used to produce water. The "Ahh" was added after "Watt" was on the board. We scrambled to the Urban Dictionary and read how the Ninjas used the word "Wattahh" as their reverent name for water. Even Bruce Lee yelled "Wattahh!" during his kicks. We thought we had discovered a name that could become a "powerhouse" of a "household" word. Randy finally told us "that will do."

How much Watt-Ahh® should I drink daily?

The makers of Watt-Ahh® recommend at least one serving (or 8oz) per average size person, daily, for purposes of hydration and detoxification. It is fine to use other types of drinking water to achieve the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommendation of at least 8-10 cups of water per day for adults, depending upon activity levels. Additional daily use of Watt-Ahh® is an individual decision, depending upon health condition and activity level, and may assist in purging the body's systems of unwanted contaminants. We have learned through our own experiences and testimonials from others that drinking Watt-Ahh® while taking daily vitamins and medications seems to prompt more efficient absorption of the vitamins and medications in the body. Please note that those people taking multiple medications daily, should first become aware of how their body reacts to "more efficient absorption" of medications and nutrients, which is likely to occur during the first few weeks of drinking Watt-Ahh® with their medication intake. Again, please consult with you licensed healthcare practitioner should you have any medical or health concerns.

Can I give Watt-Ahh® to my children?

Yes. We recommend a serving (4 to 8 oz.) or more of Watt-Ahh® consumed by children, based upon their age, weight, activity levels, and health for purposes of hydration and detoxification. We encourage everyone to follow the Food and Drug Administration's recommendations for water ingestion by children, as well as adults.

What does conductivity mean?

Conductivity is the ability of electricity to pass through water, using the impurities contained in the water as the "conductor." When water has lots of impurities, it is more "conductive," however, if water is pure, it is less "conductive," unless it is Polarized.

Will Watt-Ahh® make me glow in the dark?

No. (Unless of course you already have a radiant personality!) Watt-Ahh® has no recorded/reported adverse side effects. Watt-Ahh® seems to provide positive effects of increased energy, clarity of mind, and improved metabolism based on testimonials.

Is there electricity in Watt-Ahh®?

No. Granted, electricity (electrolysis) and magnetic polarization are used in the conversion process, there is no risk of electrocution, or any electricity-related effect, from drinking Watt-Ahh®.

What does detoxification mean?

Detoxification means to remove toxic contaminants or other waste products from chemical reactions associated with metabolism in the body. By drinking 16.9oz. (1 bottle) of Watt-Ahh® daily, an average size, healthy person may experience some positive effects of detoxification in as little as six weeks. People with serious or advanced health problems (or extremely toxic systems), may require increased consumption over a longer period of time, in order to achieve positive results.

What does metabolism mean?

Metabolism is the chemical process in a living organism, by which food is used for tissue growth or energy production - in short, it is the ongoing process within the body, by which the various systems work together to process food and release energy. Watt-Ahh® will aid in metabolizing food in a more efficient way and will flush waste by-products from metabolism and other contaminants out of the body prompting better over-all health.

How long does it take to detoxify the body?

Based on blood tests given to some chemotherapy patients, it may take approximately six weeks to detoxify the average adult body, drinking at least one bottle of Watt-Ahh® daily. Increased levels of consumption Watt-Ahh® may assist those with serious health problems, with toxic systems.

What does "hydro-fortified" mean?

Hydro-fortified means that when you drink Watt-Ahh®, your body absorbs and hydrates better and faster than "regular" drinking water, because of its altered hydrogen bond composition and polarization.

Will drinking Watt-Ahh® help me lose weight?

Perhaps. Common sense and user testimonials have shown that improving metabolic function will increase your body's ability to process food and convert it to energy. You will also find that your body feels better as a result of improved metabolism and hydration.

Can you (heat/freeze) Watt-Ahh®?

How/Where should I store my Watt-Ahh®?

Watt-Ahh® can be stored the same as any other bottled water by storing in a cool place. Since heat and cold do not change the composition of Watt-Ahh®, it may be stored in the refrigerator, in a cupboard, or in a closet.

How long can I store Watt-Ahh®?

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers bottled water to have an indefinite shelf life if it's produced in accordance with regulations and remains sealed and unopened. The two-year expiration date on most bottled water products is voluntary on the part of bottling companies. AquaNew, LLC, producers of Watt-Ahh®, has volunteered the same and a two-year date from the day of bottling, is stamped on each of our products. We recommend for the longest shelf life and preservation of the highest quality, our products should be stored inside and kept in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

Can any water be converted into Watt-Ahh®?

No. We've found that only distilled water without impurities can be used to create Watt-Ahh®. "Other waters" have impurities and sediments that impede the conversion process. Thus, we are taking the purest "base" water, for conversion into the best water on the planet.

Is Watt-Ahh® hydrogenated water?

No. There is no separate hydrogen molecules infused into the water. Watt-Ahh® is Polarized Water made from distilled water.

Will Watt-Ahh® "revert back" to distilled water?

No. Once converted, Watt-Ahh® will remain Watt-Ahh®. Not unlike a magnet that has been chipped - the chipped piece will never fit back into its original place, and will, in fact, repel away from its original location.

Is ORP relevant to pure water?

ORP is simply a measure of millivolts in a solution that reflect the potential for Redox reactions when the solution comes in contact with another substance. Redox is a well-known chemical term that stands for reduction - oxidation reactions or to make it simple a positive or negative reaction. A negative ORP reading indicates it will promote bacterial growth and a positive ORP reading indicates it will prevent bacterial growth. Both characteristics are needed when dealing with water, for example; when we are dealing with wastewater such as sewage we want to promote the growth of bacteria, therefore we want a negative ORP reading. On the other hand, when we are dealing with drinking water we want to prevent bacteria growth; therefore, we want a positive ORP reading. ORP measurements have become the standard test for municipal water suppliers in recent years and have replaced tests such as chlorine and pH, due to increased accuracy involved in a ORP reading. In response to this question, a positive ORP reading is relevant for Watt-Ahh® pure water which verifies its clean, anti-bacterial properties.

What is the optimum pH for drinking water?

The pH of pure water including Watt-Ahh®, is within the range between low and mid 7.0. Any change in the pH of water is caused by mineral deposits suspended in the water. According to Scientists at the US Department of Energy (DOE), Molecular Biology Archive, normal blood pH is about 7.35. Blood pH lower than 7.0 or higher than 8.0 may cause severe medical complications. DOE indicates severe upset in blood pH (<7.25), causes disturbances in the body, which can lead to renal failure. Acidosis may occur with blood pH below 7.0 that can cause a coma.

For the other extreme, alkalosis causes the heart to beat too fast and can cause a heart attack. No one should attempt to adjust blood pH with a liquid product including bottled water, since it gets into the blood stream too fast, gives a quick boost of energy because the heart is beating faster, and can cause heart damage or stroke. This is what happens when someone is bitten by a snake, the venom is alkaline. A small amount of alkaline water will neither harm the human body nor improve health. Alkaloids in fresh vegetables and juices, safely boosts blood pH.

According to the DOE, there are a series of buffers which help the plasma resist any change in pH. Some of them include: the hemoglobin in the red blood cells, other plasma proteins, the bicarbonate buffer, and the phosphate buffer. Many physiological processes influence the pH, but one of the largest contributors is the CO2 content of the blood. 

Watt-Ahh® as pure water, is optimum and compatible for normal blood pH and serves to detoxify the body including removal of CO2, to assist in maintaining a healthy blood pH.

Can you explain why the inside of my mouth and tongue feel different on occasion after I drink Watt-Ahh®?

Our Water has a neutral pH which is a characteristic of pure water. Saliva, in the upper range of pH 6 for healthy individuals, initiates the digestive process inside the mouth and is more acidic when compared to the neutral pH of either Watt-Ahh® or pure water. Plaque and other bacterial biofilms also build up inside the mouth. We are of the opinion that Watt-Ahh® washes away some of the saliva, cleanses some of the plaque and bacteria buildup, hydrates the tongue and activates collagen inside the mouth. Some people report on occasion, a drier mouth after drinking Watt-Ahh®. This may relate to a higher thirst level prior to drinking the Water, with the lining of the mouth and tongue rapidly absorbing the Water and a transition to a more balanced pH and greater cleanliness of the palate. The feeling of thirstiness is the body’s signal to drink more Water.

What do the terms “hydration” and “dehydration” mean?

“Hydration” relates to the body’s need for hydrogen and thus the word “hydration”. “Dehydration” is a condition resulting from lowered levels of hydrogen in the body. Hydrogen is the “driver” for enzymatic function and metabolism that create energy for lives. Additionally, hydrogen assists in detoxification of contaminants or removal of free radicals from our bodies. Watt-Ahh® is specially created to have hydrogen in two forms, readily available for these benefits. Most people may be surprised to learn that the body has to metabolize water including bottled water with supplements of minerals, sugars and salts, as long as two hours after consumption.  We are of the opinion that the “Hydroxyhydrogen" or O—HH gas (SG Gas) infused into ultra-pure water creates more accessible hydrogen for the body’s beneficial uses including more efficient hydration and detoxification. Our theory is the linear O—HH molecule contained in Watt-Ahh® has a gram positive at one end and gram negative at the other end. Gram positive (O—H+) portion of the linear water molecule is absorbed into the blood and tissue of the body for more efficient hydration and metabolism. The remaining gram negative portion (H-) will attach to free radicals to create methane gas which is released harmlessly from the body for improved detoxification. 

Does water need to contain minerals (electrolytes), in order to be beneficial to the body?

No. In fact, if we are able to fully metabolize the vitamins and minerals contained in the foods we eat, we would never need minerals or supplements in our water, or to ingest supplements in pill or powder form. Simply put, most waters contain dissolved solids, which inhibit absorption in the body (the impurity of the water precludes it from passing through the membrane of organs), thus keeping important vitamins and minerals from being absorbed into the body. However, the ultra pure and polarized nature of Watt-Ahh® immediately penetrates the membranes of organs, and will allow for more complete absorption of vitamins and minerals in foods, thus promoting good metabolism and efficient immune function.

In addition to hindering metabolism, supplements in certain bottled waters may not be in a chelated or in a “food form” to allow the enzymes of the body to break these elements down for absorption. Non-food form supplements contained in certain bottled water products may become a toxic sludge in the body or worse yet, non-water soluble substances that adversely affect the kidneys. Bottled waters with mineral supplements typically do not use the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommended daily levels or percentages as they appear on the labels of vitamins. Individuals, who drink Watt-Ahh® with their vitamins (pill, liquid or powder form), make the deliberate choice of knowing the type and amount of each nutrient going into their bodies. Again, Watt-Ahh® also enhances the efficiency of absorption of nutrients contained in our vitamins and food for better metabolism and greater energy.

Our sources of information on water purity and nutrient absorption come from universities, certified laboratories, plant studies from professional growers, and shelf life studies performed by other companies. AquaNew has been coordinating with product manufacturers seeking to improve the quality and shelf life of their organic food and beverage products and cosmetics thereby minimizing use of artificial preservatives. So far, there have been good results on extending shelf life of certain products. One company that bakes Omega fish oil cookies has observed the Polarized Water emulsifies the Omega oil for better absorption in the body and creates better tasting cookies. The Polarized Water serves as a natural carrier of anti-wrinkle cream as observed by a cosmetic chemist during his testing. You can duplicate at home by spraying your face with Watt-Ahh® and applying your favorite lotion to the face and other body areas for soft, healthy skin.

Is Watt-Ahh® more beneficial than home filtration systems?

Yes. If you care about your health, you will drink Watt-Ahh® which has greater health benefits when compared to that of filtered water. Water from home filtration systems is not polarized and does not compete with the ultra-pure quality of Watt-Ahh® that goes through a five stage treatment. We have an exclusive five-stage purification process that transforms spring water into Ultra-pure Water: (1) filtration, (2) reverse osmosis, (3) deionization, (4) vapor distillation and finally, (5) infusion of SG Gas to bring the Water to its ultra-pure perfection (less than 1 ppm total suspended solids and neutral 7.0 pH of pure water). We are open to a corporate partnership on the concept of offering to the market in the future, home-installed units that can produce Polarized Water upon demand.

If you decide to use a home filtration system, we recommend avoiding the purchase of units that are currently available in the big box stores, having polycarbonate (lexan) plastics that may outgas Bisphenol A (BPA).

Is Bisphenol A (BPA) in the plastic bottles containing Watt-Ahh®?

No. We use the best food-safe plastic, PETE1. To qualify for PETE1, no BPA is used in the manufacturing of our bottles. BPA used in polycarbonate (lexan) is uncommon in the bottle industry (except for larger containers such as 5 gallon jugs) but often used in water filtration systems like the ones currently sold in stores including big boxes. 

Can the PETE1 bottles be recycled?

Yes. PETE1 bottles are highly recyclable which is not the same as other “denser” types of plastics used to contain your other foods and beverages such as milk and yogurt containers, and vegetables and fruits wrapped in plastic. We remind our customers to recycle on each bottle label to keep our environment clean. 

Why do other food and beverage manufacturers inject liquid nitrogen or nitrogen gas into their products?

Nitrogen provides internal pressure inside containers for rigidity such as plastic bottles filled with noncarbonated beverages.

Is nitrogen injected into Watt-Ahh® during the bottling process?

No. Watt-Ahh® is pure water without any chemical additives.

Why are the 16.9oz bottles of Watt-Ahh® “flexible” or “squishy” when I pick them up?

The lack of rigidity of bottles filled with Watt-Ahh® relates to our promise of no additives including nitrogen gas, which ensures the Ultra-Pure Polarized nature of Watt-Ahh®.

Can glass containers be used to bottle the Polarized Water?

No. The porous inside surface of a glass bottle will likely absorb infused SG Gas over time and the water will loose some of its polarized quality. We have other concerns about the use of glass bottles including potential damage due to breaking glass and the higher cost for our product transferred to our customers including shipping since the glass will add extra weight compared to PETE1 bottles that we use. 

Are plant-based bottles a better alternative?

No. Plant-based bottles (e.g., soy and corn) affect the world’s food supply and must have a dedicated mulching system, separate from the recycle process of other plastics. The mulching process involves high energy consumption of heat to boil the plant-based bottles for approximately two days, and then shedding and mixing into soil.  Most plant-based bottles are sold to institutions and cruise lines that have mulching or high-heat processes for handling these types of bottles. Plant-based bottles have additional concerns of being less sturdy for stacking and shipping, and may have a tendency to collapse and leak. Plant-based bottles are less tolerant to heat when compared to oil-based plastic bottles, and must not be placed in hot cars.

Does Watt-Ahh® come in 5-gallon size?

No, primarily because there is currently no recyclable PETE1 or clear PVC 5-gallon container manufacturer within a reasonable shipping distance of our corporate headquarters in Sarasota, FL. We have a number of concerns over the reusable and denser polycarbonate plastic containers. In the interim, we recommend to our customers to purchase five one-gallons of Watt-Ahh® to fill their own in-home water cooler unit and dispenser.

If you decide to subscribe to a 5-gallon container service offered by other companies, we recommend the following good practices to reduce the risk of contamination. The container should be sealed upon arrival to your home. Clean the neck of the container and do not hold onto the neck when placing inside the holder. The water dispenser unit needs to be kept in a cool location. When the container is empty and waiting for pickup, avoid placing in direct sun to minimize the potential for mold growing inside the container. Empty containers should only hold clean water and not be used for other purposes including storage of coins or mixing of pesticide. Please be aware that harsh chemicals may be added at the water plant for cleaning and sanitation before each container is refilled. Another consideration is the life of the polycarbonate container is limited and will have to be disposed of and replaced by the water distribution company.

Can fairly expensive machines that adjust the pH of Water, produce water similar to Watt-Ahh®?

No. We understand that these types of machines change the pH of water by adding sodium bicarbonate or other solutions. Watt-Ahh® is ultra-pure water that has a pH of approximately 7.0. The polarization characteristic of Watt-Ahh® also can not be replicated by such machines.

Do you support proposed federal requirements for the water bottling industry for more complete disclosure to the customers?

Yes, contingent upon any new regulations are scientifically correct, reasonable and will be enforced. On our label for the 16.9 oz. bottles, we already identify the water source as being Kelley Spring in Lake Placid, Florida. The purification process is also described on the label and supplemented by the information on this website and our company documents. There are no mineral additives to Watt-Ahh®. We create and bottle the water at Keystone Water Company in Lake Placid, Florida that regularly test water produced at that facility for compliance with State permitting. AquaNew, L.L.C. again welcomes any reasonable and scientifically-based federal legislation that will provides full disclosure to consumers on the source and quality of the water they drink including municipal sources.

Is tap water a healthy alternative?

We recommend that people have their water source at the tap tested by professional and reputable water testing companies. Water is typically tested at the municipal water plants. However, water leaving the plant could be contaminated by antiquated underground transmission pipes that ultimately deliver water to homes. However, please keep in mind, tap water will not provide the benefits from the purity and polarization of Watt-Ahh®.
